I am updating my review of Smith Property Care based on new landscaping they did along one side of our front yard in November 2025. A large tree fell in a storm, taking down power lines and pulling up the gas line. Other trees were damaged and had to be removed, and a section of the lawn was destroyed. Shawn designed a plan for a retaining wall, 25 new shrubs, steps, and sod replacement. It was tricky with the dual slopes, and two loads of dirt had to be brought in. Shawn and his crew did an amazing job, completely transforming that area of our front yard. It looks so lovely. Our next-door neighbors are happy, too. People driving by have stopped to look at it and take photos. Thank you so much, Shawn, and crew!

We had a drainage problem in our side yard where there was a steep grade, making access to the back yard difficult. Shawn designed a path to run from the front yard to the back yard. The path was lined with boards and filled with slate chips. A new pipe was installed from the downspout at the back of the garage to a French drain, which runs beneath the path to the bottom of the hill. Wide steps were installed to make accessing the backyard easy. Liriope was planted along both sides of the path. It looks great. The slate chips stay in place, and do not blow or wash away. It was a great solution to a tricky problem. Thank you, Smith Property Care!

I am very pleased with the extensive drainage control that Shawn and his crew installed! It took 4 days to rebuild walls, install French drains, dry creek beds, plants and sod to control the water that flows from three of my neighbors down toward my house and pool. We haven’t had a heavy rain yet but I think our water issues are solved.

As someone who has made a career in helping organizations improve their customer experiences, I want to point out the exceptional experience I had this week with Smith Property Care and their leadership's responsiveness to an accident that occurred during my neighbor's yard service. A Smith employee, Quinton, was using a weedwacker near our driveway when the machine launched a small stone into the rear window of our parked car, smashing it into a thousand pieces. Quinton then came to our door, apologized profusely and shared contact information, and letting me know that it would be taken care of. I was skeptical that this would be a long, drawn out process with lots of paper work and damage descriptions. I was wrong. After receiving a quote for repair of over $500, I forwarded that information to Smith Property Care, and within an hour received a Zelle payment for the full amount from Shawn Smith, President. For their responsiveness, care and honesty, Smith Property Care has earned a spot at the top of my contractor list for my yard care and landscaping needs.

Maya and her team provided me with mulch installation and spring cleaning. They did a fantastic job. Very attentive to detail, texted me with questions/photos throughout the process to ensure satisfaction and notify me of issues I wasn’t even aware of (leaking water meter in my front yard). Fair pricing and very professional throughout the quotation and scheduling process. I signed up for her lawn maintenance service because I was so satisfied with my initial experience. Would highly recommend!

Smith Property Care became my regular biweekly lawn service company this year, and I'm so happy with their service! I used another company for several years but they let me down often. SPC comes on a regular basis on the same day every week, communicate clearly, respond to your questions quickly, and are respectful of your property. I wish I had found them sooner! Give them a call and you'll be impressed right away with their initial consultation.

Just had Shawn and crew finish our yard. He put in drain lines, repaired erosion areas, cut back major overgrowth both by hand and machine. Landscape fabric , stone and mulch in flower beds. What a great job. Highly recommend you call this company for your property needs.
